Lots to celebrate this past Sunday when we held our second clinic for free-roaming cats at Rochester Animal Services. Seventeen lucky felines got snipped, tipped, and vaccinated, and happy to report we had a few friendlies we can get off the streets!
Thanks to 19th Ward Cats for supplying flea and earmite treatment for our little friends, and we could not have done this without the space and supplies offered to us by @vsas_ras, the expertise of Dr. Christine Garvey, vet techs Marisa and Ariel, student vet tech Caelen, and the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. Thank you for your ongoing commitment to these beautiful creatures!
Community support and donations help us fix more cats and reduce the number of kittens born outdoors who are up against incredible odds. Too many kittens = no vacancy at most shelters and rescues. Fixed, vaccinated cats are healthier, quieter, less likely to get into trouble, less odorous… the benefits of spay neuter go on and on🐱
