Elusive Bixby was trapped last month when his feeder noted he wasn’t putting weight on his back leg. At his neuter appointment it was found to be badly fractured 😿Initially very shy, Bixby warmed up to us during his crate rest and we found out he was amazingly sweet and charming
What a stunning morning to return our feline friends!
Last month, Skinny Eddy kept showing up on camera after midnight and was clearly in need of help. The caretakers of this colony stayed up late to trap this elusive injured cat. Although very skittish outside, he was meowing and headbutting in the trap, letting us know he was friendly.
We schedule our trapping each week based on requests from colony caretakers. They know their “regulars”– cats who have been showing up consistently to eat. After spay/neuter, they’re returned.
Carmine is estimated to be about 10 yrs old and in need of ongoing medical care. He loves to eat and sleep and seems to love most of the attention he is getting. He doesn’t love the attempts to remove the layers of grease and grime so it happens little by little.

Relocations are a last resort for feral cats — done only when the environment is dangerous, there is no reliable feeder, or when cats are unwanted and threatened.
Thirty lucky kittens were pulled from window wells, garages, sheds, and yards. All of these kittens, and most of the mother cats, are safe in our foster homes or those of our rescue partners.
